Are you concerned about the future of health care?  Are you concerned about the future of NP education?  The 2017 NONPF Annual Conference held in Washington DC this April 19-23 will be critical to providing updated information about policy issues that will affect all NPs—educators and clinicians alike.  Being in the heart of the capital at this crucial time will provide the opportunity for NP faculty to examine issues, interact with colleagues to form strategies to address opportunities and threats, and hear about innovations in NP education.  NONPF has for decades provided the forum for NP educators to come together, learn together, and work together.  The strength of NP education lies in the talent and commitment of NP faculty and NONPF remains committed to providing NP faculty with the best and most innovative information available.  We hope to see in April.

The 43rd Annual Meeting will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington, DC.  Located in Penn Quarter, the Grand Hyatt Washington is right above the Metro Center Metro Station, just an 8 minute walk to the Verizon Center (home of the NHL Capitals, WNBA Mystics, and the NBA Wizards!), and just an 11 minute walk to the Smithsonian National Mall. In addition to the onsite restaurant, FIT Club and indoor pool, the Grand Hyatt has many shops and restaurants right outside its doors (or a short metro ride away).

NONPF has reserved a block of rooms with the Grand Hyatt at the special rate of $219.00 (plus room and tax). Traveling to the NONPF Annual Meeting could not be any easier! 

Train:  Union Station, located just two miles away and a few stops away on Metro's red line, is serviced by Amtrak.

Air:  Three airports service Washington DC, with Ronald Reagan International Airport (DCA) being the closest.  As you search for flights, you may also wish to look at Dulles International (IAD) or Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).  All three airports have public transportation options available to help you get to the Grand Hyatt.
